Fire Damage – Raleigh Home
Fire damage at this Raleigh home began as an electrical fire in a ceiling fixture in the kitchen. The before photo shows that the fire ultimately burned through the roof. There was a considerable amount of water damage to clean up from the firefighting effort. We removed damaged ceiling drywall and insulation in the attic. We tarped the roof and arranged for a roofing contractor to repair the roof. We set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process, and we treated the entire house for soot and smoke damage. Then we did the construction work necessary to put the kitchen back in order.
